The Sanctuary has multiple ministries for all individuals to be involved and feel a part of a church organization. Below are listed each individual ministry and vision statement.

Care Ministries

Ushers and Greeters- Ushers begin their assignment in their ministry by serving each person that visits The Sanctuary. The objective is to serve by assisting them and meeting their needs spiritually and physically. Each person should feel special in the House of the Lord. The Sanctuary ushers strive to make this their mission. Other duties include security, hosts, and finances.

Greeters- Receive people with a warmth and genuine love creating an atmosphere for an experience of worship with their hospitality.

Care Shepherds- Equivalent to the deacon ministry in the bible, upon completing a training program these shepherds will care for members assigned to them under the direction of the Pastor. (This program is in the process of being implemented at present)

S.E.R.V.- Serving each other during times of recovery through a variety of issues…disease, death, times of difficulty. Objective is to demonstrate love to church family through meal preparations.

Sunday School IntercessionEach Sunday staff prays to create an atmosphere for the Lord to inhabit and His train fill the temple.

Aaron’s Army Altar Ministry Team - Provides assistance and intercession to Pastors and staff during worship. Those involved in this ministry are also Pastors Intercessors.

Albertville Ministers Association- Pastor is currently serving 2006-2007 as President of this Association and VP 2005-2006. The Sanctuary in efforts with this association strive to meet the needs of the community by joining churches of all denominations to fulfill the prayer of Jesus that we may be one in Christ. Meets monthly to discuss issues an organizes events such as Holy Week and community Thanksgiving Service.

SOS Ministry-Serving other servants- community outreach under the direction of Jeff Walker and Mike Frost witnessing to Overcomers groups one Saturday night a month through Praise & Worship. Purpose is to help other ministries evangelize our community by providing preaching, teaching, and worship ministry.

Easter Explosion- Annual community egg hunt event with thousands of eggs, prize eggs, refreshments provided, balloon jumps and horse rides. Fun, food and fellowship!

HIS Hands- Food pantry that the Sanctuary organizes when non perishable food items are needed for those in need.

Operation Christmas Child- Samaritans purse operation began by Franklin Graham that provides shoe boxes with items to less fortunate children in other countries. Our children’s ministries and others participate to teach children how to show God’s love.

Overcomers Groups- Led by Stacy Dodd each Sunday pm and Thursday. Program centered around Christ for anyone struggling in any area such as divorce, anger, drug addiction, substance abuse, fear, anything to set the captive free.

"Reason for the Season" Fruit baskets- Annual event recognizing widows/widowers and shut ins during Thanksgiving provided by the Ladies Ministries.

Stockings for Seniors- Annually, Seniors receive a stocking decorated by the Women of Excellence ladies ministry, 1st place prize given. The Sanctuary’s Youth deliver to area Nursing Homes as part of mentoring volunteering and sharing God’s love.

Trunk a Treat- Annual event as an alternative to trick or treat with a message of Christ. Refreshments served. Games and prizes provided usually from 6-8pm on Oct. 31.

Youth and Young Adult

DOC- Disciples of Christ- Sanctuary Youth under the direction of Maranda Moore. Objective is to teach the youth to walk with Christ in purity and holiness.

Remnant Drama Ministry- Tool used to communicate the message of Jesus Christ to reach young people through parables of visual human video.

Sanctuary Music

Sanctuary Praise Team- Under the direction of Rev. Mike and Kay Frost- pianist. Praise team consists of Women’s Pastor Destin Craft, Angie Whitworth, Maranda Moore, Dianne Miller, Randy Williams, congas-Jessica Smith, drummer- Nathan Cook, guitar and vocals-Jeff Walker, bass guitar- Angie Walker. Our vision is for a dynamic music ministry that uses praise and worship to lead the Saints into the presence of God and draw the sinners to the salvation of Christ. We believe that worship prepares our minds to receive God’s Word and opens our heart to the work of the Holy Spirit.

Discipleship and Fellowship

Women of Excellence- Under the direction of Women’s Pastor Destin Craft meets quarterly for a luncheon to promote fellowship and maturing in Christ together to usher in Revival in the home, church and community. Provides assurance and support to those who need ministering that there is life after lapses and a place for everyone in God’s Kingdom to serve one another.

Men of Honor- Under the direction of Pastor Lonnie Craft and other men leading to promote maturity in Christ through equipping and teaching God’s word. Servanthood and fellowship. Meetings at least quarterly.

Couple’s Konnekted- Meets every 6-8 weeks to promote couples strengthening their family and marriage through marriage devotions and fellowship.

Sanctuary’s Ladies Bible Study- Meets every month to disciple the women to grow in their walk with Christ and become a Proverbs woman. There is a place for every woman in the Lord’s Kingdom.

S.W.O.T.- Singles with an Overcomers Testimony. Meetings are scheduled and announced for singles to fellowship with those striving to serve and grow in the Lord.

Children's Ministries

Passion is to train up a child in the way he should go …to instruct in purity and holy living for Christ while loving and serving Him.
